Cookies and personal data

Our site generates small files called "cookies" which enable us to offer a tailored experience.

These small text files are stored in a designated area of your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.).

They collect a certain amount of technical information or the history of actions carried out by a user. These files are therefore likely to store information such as the pages consulted, the date and time of consultation, the time and duration of connection and the place of connection, the IP address, etc.

Cookies are used for several purposes:
- To ensure that our site functions properly
- To personalize the browsing experience (for example, according to the device used to connect you)
- To obtain statistics to analyze our traffic
- Potentially for advertising purposes to provide you with services and offers tailored to your centers of interest.

Some cookies may be placed by third-party services. See the "Which cookies, for which purposes" section for details.

In all cases, cookies are important for the proper operation of our site and do not contain any identifying information about our users.

Not accepting cookies does not prevent you from accessing our site, but the browsing experience may be less optimal and certain functions may be inaccessible or degraded.

The law stipulates that we may only store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of our Services.

For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie declaration on our Services or later in your settings.

Pursuant to Decree no. 2006-358 of March 24, 2006 on the retention of electronic communications data, traffic data must be retained for one (1) year from the date of recording.

Furthermore, in the context of legal proceedings, these files must be made available to the courts "for the purposes of investigating, establishing and prosecuting criminal offences".

Your personal data is processed according to 3 principles:

  • Your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation ;
  • our legitimate interests where these prevail under Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation.
  • The need to perform a contract entered into with you under article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation

In the interests of transparency, we will share with you in a comprehensible manner how and why we may use certain data.

Data is processed for specific purposes, which we will explain to you. We undertake to collect and use data only for the purposes for which it is processed.

In order for some of the features on our website to work, we may need to remember you by using cookies.

We also track visitors to our website to help us understand how they use the site, so that we can check that it is working properly and that the interfaces and paths on it are appropriate. Based on this tracking, we regularly update the site to make it even simpler and more intuitive to use. For example, we keep track of the most frequently visited pages, the time visitors spend on our site, the websites they visit before and after ours, and where our visitors come from.

We can do this by using cookies and other technical information that your device automatically sends us. Except for uses inherent to the service, we ask for your consent to collect this information by means of the cookie banner you saw when you first visited our website.

For more information on how we use cookies and how you can manage your consent, take a look at the section dedicated to these files if you haven't already done so.

From social networks. If you interact with our Facebook page, or our Instagram account, we use the data you provide to respond to any questions or comments you leave. We also use these social network services to show you advertising and special offers via social networks, which in some cases will target you based on your interests and online browsing.

When you contact us via the contact page, subscribe to our newsletter or take part in competitions and other promotional events. Even though we always ask for your consent to receive our commercial offers, you can object at any time by sending us an e-mail to the following address: contact@reeplay.fr

We also store data about your preferences, such as whether you have decided to opt out of marketing emails, what types of products you seem to be interested in and how often you open the emails we send, as it is in our interest to send you the most relevant marketing information without being intrusive and by limiting the number of emails we send.

Answering questions. If you contact us for any reason, we will use the information you provide to answer your question. We consider good customer service to be an integral part of the Digital Concept experience.

We also want to learn from your feedback so that we can continue to improve. We use data for these legitimate business purposes, without infringing your rights to privacy.

For common legal and business reasons. We've grouped this slightly more legal section under a single heading because most of these cases occur only occasionally or in very exceptional circumstances.

It is important to know, however, that when required by law or when we deem it necessary to protect our legal rights, our interests and those of others, we use personal data for legal claims, compliance, regulatory and audit services, and for declarations in connection with the acquisition, merger or disposal of a company.

We also use personal data for security purposes, to verify accounts and account activity, to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity and to identify violations of our policies.

Your personal data will be shared with service providers under contract with us for the purposes described above:

  • Our communications and marketing strategy agency
  • Our web agency in charge of the site

Our data is stored and processed exclusively in France.

If you no longer wish to receive information about our products and offers, please let us know by writing to us at contact@reeplay.fr or at the address given at the bottom of this notice. Please be sure to include your name and full address or e-mail address.

You can also click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any e-mail or SMS that we have sent or will send to you.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data; to rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data and to set out instructions regarding the fate of your personal data after your death; and to obtain the personal data you have provided in a structured, machine-readable format. In addition, you may object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances (in particular, where we do not need to process the data in order to comply with a contractual or other legal obligation or a compelling interest). Even if you have given us your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. If you ask us to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, this will not affect any processing that has already taken place.

These rights may be limited, for example if the execution of your request reveals personal data about another person, or if you ask us to delete data that we are obliged to retain by law or to satisfy compelling legitimate interests. If you have any unresolved concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live, work or where you believe the alleged breach took place.

You can also click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any e-mail or SMS that we have sent or will send to you.

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for our legitimate interests in accordance with applicable law. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your data or, if this is not possible (for example, because the data has been archived), we will store your data securely and isolate it from further use until deletion is possible. We describe the retention period below:

  • Advertising data: If you have chosen to receive marketing e-mails from us, we will retain data on your advertising preferences for three years from the date on which you last expressed interest in our products and services, for example when you last opened an e-mail from us. We will retain data derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for 13 months from the date of their creation.

  • Customer Service: We keep records of all interactions you have with us or our customer service representatives for six years from your last interaction with us. If the data you have provided relates to health and safety, we may keep it for longer as required by law.
